On June 3, 2020 (the "Petition Date"), APC Automotive Technologies Intermediate Holdings, LLC and twelve affiliated debtors (together, the "Debtors" or "APC") filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.  The Debtors' bankruptcy cases are jointly administered under case no. 20-11466 before the Honorable Judge Christopher S. Sonchi in the United States Bankruptcy Court for Delaware (the "Bankruptcy Court").

On May 31, 2020, the Debtors launched solicitation of their prepackaged plan of reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code (as amended from time to time, the “Plan”). The voting deadline for the Plan was June 24, 2020 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time).

The impact of Covid-19 on the Debtors was unexpected and unprecedented. The reorganization process will provide APC with the time to put in place a new, stronger foundation to move successfully through the pandemic and bed position the Debtors for the future, while continuing normal business operations.

On July 10, 2020, the Court confirmed the Plan. For a copy of the Confirmation Order (docket no. 178), please click here.

On August 26, 2020, a final decree closing certain of the cases was entered, and on September 30, 2020, a final decree order was entered closing the remaining Chapter 11 cases.
