On August 12, 2020 (the "Petition Date"), Stein Mart, Inc. and two affiliated debtors (together, the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The Debtors' bankruptcy cases are jointly administered under Case No. 20-02387 and are pending before the Honorable Jerry A. Funk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida (the "Bankruptcy Court").

Pursuant to Order of the Bankruptcy Court, Case No. 3:20-bk-2387, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Stein Mart was authorized “to maintain and administer the Customer Programs and honor any related pre-petition obligations in the ordinary course of business and consistent with past practice, as necessary and appropriate in the Debtors’ business judgment,” including honoring gift cards through September 21, 2020. As of September 22, 2020, Stein Mart is no longer honoring cards or merchandise credits. If you have a Stein Mart gift card or merchandise credit that you did not use or redeem before September 21, 2020, you are entitled to file a proof of claim by October 21, 2020, the Bankruptcy Court-approved bar date deadline, as previously noticed on this website, https://cases.stretto.com/SteinMart.
