The Chapter 11 Case

On April 28, 2022 (the “Petition Date”), HONX, Inc. (the “Debtor”), a subsidiary of Hess Corporation formerly known as HOVIC and HONYC, filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas (Houston Division).  The case is pending before the Honorable Judge Marvin Isgur and is administered under Case No. 22-90035.  The case docket can be accessed here or through the Debtor's Case Website.

The Unsecured Creditors Committee 

On May 13, 2022, the United States Trustee for Region 7 (the "U.S. Trustee") appointed seven creditors to serve on the Official Comittee of Unsecured Creditors (the "UCC") and represent the interests of all the Debtors' unsecured creditors. See Notice of Appointment of Committee of Unsecured Creditors [Docket No. 91].
